Jude

Yeah!!!! He's here!!!! I've got to start with this picture because I am again amazed at the size of that belly. This is the night before going in to get induced.
Labor went pretty slow until I was 6 cm dilated then things started happening pretty fast and at the same time the epidural stopped working. Blech. The doc took forever to come give me another dose and by the time it kicked in Jude was already here. Stupid epidural.
Jake is so cute with his little man.
The girls came to the hospital the next morning and were both at first a little bit weirded out about me being in the hospital. It was kinda funny. Avi just scowled at me and Tru wouldnt hug me or anything because she was worried about where I got "poked." They both LOVED their little brother though. Avi was going a little bit crazy with excitement and just kept yelling "baby, baby" over and over.
It has been a bit tricky having an 18 month old and a newborn. She is so sweet and tries so hard to be gentle...but she is just not quite sure he isn't a doll sometimes.
I had to put this picture in because I believe it foreshadows what I am in for with three kids. Notice Avi trying to stick her finger in the outlet...she is super sneaky and way too curious about everything!! AHHHHH

We are not sure who he looks more like...he really doesn't look much like either of our kids. I guess we'll just have to wait until the puffy newborn face changes a bit.

I was so excited/nervous to come home. The girls love having him around. Tru is such a little mother and is constantly checking on him and helping out. Avi mostly just tries to pet and kiss him CONSTANTLY. Nursing is next to impossible unless she is secured in another room.
He is absolutely perfect!!

Easter

We went over to Jake's parents house for an dinner and a Easter egg hunt with all the cousins. The cutie on the bike is River, who is a couple months older than Avi. The poor little man is terrified of Avi. She is constantly trying to hug and kiss him. It has gotten to the point where the minute he sees her approaching he starts to cry and run away. Avi doesn't seem to get the hint though, she seriously chases him, which is what she is doing in this next picture.

She has searched out all the jelly bean and has probably 10 in her mouth at that moment.

JELLY BEANS!!!!!! Never seen her so excited.

My fam was all out of town so Hannah came with us. What a cute sis I have!!

This was the only family picture we could manage...Avi is not a fan of being photographed!

Tru turns 4

When it comes to documenting important events I suck. These were all the pictures I managed to take and unfortunately they are all lame-0. I didn't even get a picture of her blowing out her candles....correction matches. Yes, there were no candles so Jake stuck matches onto the cake.

Tru wanted a mask/dance party with a giant marshmellow cake???????????????? Unfortunately I don't have any pictures documenting that any of that happened...but parts of it did nonetheless.

The next mess

I was inviting this particular mess by having them both help make banana bread...

(Tru decided to help Avi finish hers)

I can never stay ahead of Avi and her messes lately. Usually I am to annoyed to get out the camera and take a picture of whatever it is she has messed, but here are a few that I did get on camera.
She emptied that box full of outgrown clothes and then walked around the house with the box on her head knocking stuff over.
Took out all of Jake's and I shoes.
If I can't find her...I look in one of the cupboards.

We were in St. George this weekend and Avi spent some time in a sandbox...she has seriously been pooping out sand ever since. I don't know how much she ate but it must have been many handfuls.

Also, I am having a boy for those who didn't know. I hear boys are destructive....awesome, just what I need.

Tru's first haircut.

It is about blasted time...I just couldn't bring myself to do it. But hair grazing the inside of the toilet bowl should never happen, and it did. You can't really tell in this picture but her hair is folded and laying on the stool another 2 inches. She was not too pleased, and was pretty much crying the whole time, I wanted to cry too. I had to get my hair cut to appease her.
