Friar Avi

Mothers think their children are delicious no matter what they look like and I am no exception. However, I am not blind to this little situation (above). She looks like the negative image of a friar...which leads me only to believe that she has a misshapen head. I suppose misshapen is not the most appropriate word to use since I am a mother who thinks this little bald ring is indeed...delicious.
I don't know when I saw my first picture of a baby gorilla, but I am sure it was when I was very young. Ever since then, I have hyperventilated a little bit whenever I do get a chance to see one. I think they are about the cutest thing in the animal world. Correct me if I am wrong but do I not have a human version of a baby gorilla? Something in the eyes? Me thinks I do, and I swear I feel like I just fulfilled a life long wish of holding my own baby gorilla. She melts me. Ahhhhh

Below is a video of Tru singing her version of The Little Mermaid song. I think she only has about 50% of the words right and the rest are what she thought it sounded like. Makes me laugh.

Happy Birthday Tru

Happy, happy birthday! She insisted upon having a chocolate cake with chocolate chips on and in it. Yes, I am well aware that this is the ugliest cake EVER! But thanks to Crystal's recipe it was pretty yummy.
What a beaut.
When Hazel got to the party she kept talking about the Ariel barbie Tru had. Tru kept saying that she didn't have one and Hazel would tell her, "You do Tru, it's in the present we brought you. This is the moment when Tru realized she was in fact the proud owner of an Ariel barbie.

Hi Daniel.
Poor Hazel was tortured watching Tru get all these new toys. She tried really hard to be excited though, knowing whatever Tru got her mom would make her share (kicking and screaming of course).
She was totally jealous of all Tru's presents. I kept telling her, "Don't worry Avi, you will be playing with all of these soon enough cause when Tru outgrows them we will wrap them up and give them to you." She wasn't amused. Do #2 kids ever get anything new? Cause it is way too convenient to just recycle things down.
Ahhh....love them when they are peacefully sleeping.
She was very serious about documenting her birthday goods.
She had to put everything on all at once.
My little three year old. I think I might cry:)
